Adam Simpson
Adam Simpson is the former West Coast Eagles coach and former player. Simpson took on the coaching role in 2014 and led the Eagles to an AFL premiership in 2018, which was a major highlight of his coaching career.
As a player, Simpson had a successful career with the North Melbourne, where he played for many years as a left-footed midfielder, gaining a reputation as a tough and skilled player. He played over 300 AFL games in his career and was known for his leadership and work ethic.
Simpson is widely regarded as a respected figure in the AFL for both his playing and coaching achievements.
Dixie Marshall
Dixie comes from a football family with intergenerational involvement in the game. She was the first woman AFL commentator on Australian television.
In career spanning more than 40 years, Dixie has held senior roles in media, government, sport and advertising, including becoming a Perth Nine News weeknight presenter, and the Director of Government Media in Colin Barnett’s Office.
Marshall currently holds the role of Deputy Chair at the West Australian Football Commission, where she brings contemporary marketing, media, data, digital and communication expertise.
